Honorina
Treatment Coordinator/Manager
Honorina brings several years of knowledge and experience to the practice. Her favorite part of her job is being able to help educate patients on ways to improve their oral health. She loves seeing different patients walk out of the office smiling and working side-by-side with her wonderful coworkers. Honorina attended American Samoa Community College and San Antonio Dental School.
Originally from American Samoa, Honorina is the second oldest of 10 siblings. Whenever she isn’t in the office, you can find her sleeping or spending time with her family. An interesting fact about her is that she’s very good at multi-tasking and is a fast learner!
Sharon
Insurance Coordinator
Sharon has been in the dental field for well over a decade. To this day, her favorite part of her career is working as a team to provide the best care to their wonderful patients. Sharon is originally from Castroville, Texas and attended Our Lady of the Lake University.
Whenever Sharon isn’t in the office, you can find her attending live concerts and raising her sheep and lambs. She also loves traveling to New York City! An interesting fact about Sharon is that she’s a calm and caring person who’s very compassionate and loyal.
Sabrina
Administrative Assistant
Sabrina is our helpful administrative assistant with over two years of experience in the dental field. Her favorite part of her job is being around all of the patients and getting to see their smiling faces every time they enter through the office doors!
Sabrina is a proud mother to two boys, who she does everything for. In her free time, you can find her dancing and spending time with her family. Sabrina always chooses staying home and relaxing over going out.
Alexander
Lead Dental Assistant
Alexander has over five years of experience in the dental field. He is a graduate of Brightwood College and has his X-ray certification, CPR certification, and speaks both Spanish and English! One of his favorite parts of being the lead dental assistant at Potranco Family Dental is seeing his patients’ reactions after the team gets to recreate their smiles.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Alexander is the oldest of three boys. Whenever he isn’t at the office, you can find him enjoying being outdoors hiking, running, and biking. On the weekends, he also loves going kayaking. An interesting fact about Alexander is that he has a very good memory.
Arelis
Registered Dental Assistant
Arelis has been working in the dental field for over two decades. The best part of her job is the ability to make a direct positive impact on her patients’ lives by helping them feel comfortable during their dental visit. Arelis attended Ponce Paramedical College and has her coronal polishing certification, as well as her dental assistant with expanded functions degree.
Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Arelis is the oldest of seven siblings and has two daughters and three granddogs. Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her traveling and reading books. Some interesting facts about her are that she loves to cook, take yoga classes, and dance.
Alexa
Dental Assistant
Alexa is one of our experienced dental assistants at Potranco Family Dental. For her, the best part of her career is working alongside the other dental assistants to treat patients. She also loves taking the time to bond with each of her patients. Alexa attended San Antonio Dental Assisting School, where she earned her RDA and nitrous oxide licenses.
Originally from San Antonio, Alexa’s family means everything to her. She’ll always go above and beyond for her family, especially her brother, because they support her in whatever she decides to do. Whenever she isn’t at the office, she loves to shop online, go to the gym with her friend, and watch TV. An interesting fact about Alexa is that she’s a quiet and genuine person.
Briana
Dental Hygienist
Briana’s career in the dental field spans nearly a decade! A San Antonio native, she studied dental hygiene at Texas Woman’s University and is certified in nitrous monitoring and laser dentistry. As our talented hygienist, she loves getting to meet new people from all walks of life through her job.
At home, Briana spends plenty of quality time with her husband and three kids. Some of her biggest interests include bass guitar, arts and crafts, astrology, and axolotls!
